Mantrailing is a great fun dog sport, teaching pet dogs to search for a specific person by there unique specific scent trail left behind on route to there hiding destination.
Dogs are worked individually and all you need is a Y harness, A longline up to 10m and some really tasty treats for your dog. As Dogs are worked individual its great for all types young, old, disabled and reactive dogs
Dogs love mantrailing because its fun, they use there brains and nose and get a great reward at the end of the game. Owners enjoy it because they get to work as a team both dog and owner celebrate accomplishments and create a closer bond over time with there dogs.
Hi I'm Kat I'm a Mantrailing Uk instructor.
Me & my miniature schnauzer have have been trailing since 2018/19.
When started Zeus was a shy but reactive dog since doing mantrailing he has really come out of this shell and have been able to achieve so much in his time trailing from using unique scent articles, delayed tails and workshops. It challenges everything we both know, it's been great for our bond that has become stronger through time as a team.
We have passed our mantrailing uk level 1 In 2020 and our level 2 exam in 2021. Where now working towards our level 3 this year ourselves, as well teaching this great sport to new teams.
